Raspberry Creek Foods was founded by Siobhan Bradshaw and Lyn Bradshaw, two women with a passion for cooking but also with a personal interest in cookery for restricted diets. The
company was set up to address the lack of fresh, tasty
and preservative and additive free products for those
on gluten and/or wheat- free diets. Just because you
are on a restricted diet, it should not mean you miss
out on good quality fresh foods that have a great taste
but also great texture.
Siobhan was diagnosed with gluten and wheat intolerance in 2000 and so began her life following a restricted diet. It was disheartening to discover replacement products were poor in taste, texture, quality and choice. This started her quest to develop tasty gluten and wheat-free foods. Her mother in law Lyn also turned her hand to creating gluten and wheat -free recipes and together they have proved that gluten and wheat-free does not mean taste-free

Inspiration
came during a trip to Australia and New Zealand in 2005
where the availability of good quality, tasty, gluten
and wheat-free food was widespread. Walking through
Raspberry Creek in New Zealand one day, whilst eating
an appetising gluten-free snack, Siobhan was almost
moved to tears – not just by the stunning views
in front of her, but at the prospect of returning to
unpalatable gluten-free food back in the UK!

Siobhan
decided that she would change things for the better,
for herself and for all those restricted to a gluten
and/or wheat-free diet. On her return in early 2006,
she went into partnership with Lyn and Raspberry Creek
Foods was launched.
Rest
assured that we follow strict guidelines from Coeliac
UK to ensure that we prevent cross contamination. We
have a thorough wash down and cleaning procedure in
place for the kitchens and all equipment before we commence
baking gluten- free products. |
